Protection against attempts to approach the premises
DualCurtain Outdoor controls the perimeter without creating obstacles for people already inside. Two independent optics with narrow viewing sectors and flexible settings allow fine tuning of 30 meters of detection, excluding potential sources of false alarms. Exclusive ELSA software responds to intruders, ruling out triggers for natural interference and pets.

On the sides of the detector, there are two optical systems with narrow viewing sectors, each equipped with two PIR sensors. Thanks to temperature compensation, detection is always accurate. Sensor signals are analyzed by our new digital ELSA algorithm. The detector triggers an alarm only if two sensors of the same optical system simultaneously capture human movement.
Efficiency in the near area
DualCurtain Outdoor features protected area enlargement technology that is unique among outdoor curtain motion detectors. When near area detection is enabled, the detector's top PIR sensor gets an additional narrow sector of view directed at a 40° angle downwards against the main sector. This functionality allows the two sensors to detect movement when a person crosses the protected perimeter close to the detector's housing, addressing the blind spot problem typical of these detectors.

The detection range of the two optics is adjusted independently. Allows you to precisely establish the perimeter protected by the DualCurtain Outdoor and avoid false alarms caused by a bush swaying in the wind or by people passing by on a public sidewalk. So that the detector's field of view is not blocked by a column or rain drain on the façade, the optical systems can be moved vertically. In the app, you can adjust the sensitivity or disable one of the optics.
